Lorenzo Ebecilio has refrained from returning to the Eredivisie. The 29-year-old former Ajax player was able to start working for VVV-Venlo after his departure from Japan, but he prefers a new foreign adventure.
According to Football International Al-Qadisiya from Saudi Arabia is interested, but the wing attacker can also go to South Korea or Indonesia, where Bali United shows interest. At that club, two Dutchmen are already under contract with Melvin Platje and Stefano Lilipaly.
Ebecilio experienced his breakthrough at Ajax at the end of 2010 under Frank de Boer. He won the national title twice with the team from Amsterdam, before moving to Metallurg Donetsk in January 2013. This was followed by adventures at FK Qabala, Mordovia Saransk, Anzhi Makhachkala, APOEL Nicosia and Red Star Belgrade.
Ebecilio settled with the Japanese Jubilo Iwata last summer, but he left after one season. VVV-Venlo then inquired about his situation, VI knows, but the attacker does not see any point in returning to the Netherlands.
