The Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (Cofepris) was notified on October 7, about a robbery that occurred at the company’s facilities NOVAG INFANCIA, SA DE CV, of various products, including cancer drugs manufactured by the company LABORATORIO KEMEX, SA, and distributed by the company NOVAG INFANCIA, SA DE CV.

Through a statement, Cofepris reported that cancer drugs that were stolen from the company NOVAG INFANCIA, SA DE CV, are daunorubicin, fluorouracil, oxaliplatin, dacarbazine, mitomycins, etoposid, idarubicins Y cyclophosphamide.

“In the products reported as stolen, the quality and safety of the medicines is not guaranteed, since the storage and transport conditions are unknown,” he said. Cofepris.

In the alert, Cofepris explained the batch number of the exclusive medicines of the Health Sector (belonging to Health Secretary, ISSSTE, IMSS, Semar Y Sedena), and asked the general public that they cannot be purchased in private pharmacies, private hospitals or through the internet and social networks.
